Mansfield Innovative and Developmental Services, Inc. is a certified 501 (c)(3) not for profit corporation. MIDS encourages and facilitates the open, collaborative exchange of ideas between educators, community organizations and business leaders in the development of new business ventures that focus in the areas of greatest opportunity for the challenged adult community.

Mansfield Shredding Service

MIDS first business venture, Mansfield Shredding Service opened in June, 2008. Mansfield Shredding, located at 174 N. Main Street, is a non-profit business helping intellectually challenged students and adults with on-the-job training and social skills development by being part of a team at a real live business venture, providing secure document shredding services for local residents and businesses.

Community Partners: Hanna Paper Recycling, Emerson Electric.
In Collaboration with: Attleboro Public Schools, Yawkey House of Possibilities, North Attleboro Public Schools, Mansfield Public Schools, Foxboro Public Schools, Walpole Public Schools, Norton Public Schools,  Bi-County Collaborative (Franklin and North Attleboro) The League School of Greater Boston and READS Collaborative.

When we receive your donation, MIDS will send you a letter acknowledging your contribution. Please save this letter for your records. To receive a tax deduction, you will need the proper documentation when filing your income tax returns. The IRS requires a receipt for each tax-deductible contribution of $250 or more.
