MIDS encourages and facilitates the open, collaborative exchange of ideas between educators, community organizations and business leaders in the development of new business ventures that focus in the areas of greatest opportunity for the challenged adult community.

Mansfield Shredding Service
MIDS first business venture, Mansfield Shredding Service opened in June, 2008. Mansfield Shredding, located at 174 N. Main Street, is a non-profit business helping intellectually challenged students and adults with on-the-job training and social skills development by being part of a team at a real live business venture, providing secure document shredding services for local residents and businesses.

When we receive your donation, MIDS will send you a letter acknowledging your contribution. Please save this letter for your records. To receive a tax deduction, you will need the proper documentation when filing your income tax returns. The IRS requires a receipt for each tax-deductible contribution of $250 or more.
